Centuries
ago ...
when Bohemia was a part of the Austrian
Monarchy, this region was the centre of the glass industry, as it was
rich with
the necessary natural resources.
In
1949 ...
post-war immigrants from Gablonz in Bohemia
established the glass manufactory Schöler in
Kremsmünster. The
company founders were Kuno Schöler, Burkhard Görner, Manfred
Görner and Alfred
Kutnar. From the very beginning, motivated and qualified craftsmen
represented
the soul of our enterprise. They played an essential part in making
Schöler a
leading producer of top quality crystals for decorative lighting in
palaces,
hotels, villas etc.
Today ...
the company is managed by Christian Pamminger. Schöler is the
world’s largest
complete-supplier of crystals to the lighting industry, with its
headquarters
in Kremsmünster and a global network of representatives. By
the
permanent introduction of new shapes and colors, flexibility in working
procedures and
quick shipping Schöler is continuously improving its world-market
position.
